I was going through my grandfather’s jewelry boxes after he passed and found this watch. The case back is stamped 22297 2, and the serial number dates it to 1955. I’ve already looked up the brand and some basic info on this model, but every example I can find online has the model name printed on the dial mine does not.

That’s the main thing that’s confusing me. The dial, hands, and overall design look close, but the missing model name makes it look different from every other 22297 2 I’ve seen.

I don’t know a lot about watches, so I’m hoping someone here might know a little more about this watch.
