[SOTC] Done for now

I recently added the BB Pro and am quite satisfied with the way my collection is coming along so far. I enjoy wearing a variety of case sizes, from 34 mm (Omega Seamaster Deville) to 42 mm (modern Seamaster), though 39 mm seems to be my sweet spot.

My most worn are the DJ 36, which I wear to work mostly everyday, and the Seamaster, which I wear on the weekends.

My least worn are the Santos and the Navitimer. While I enjoy how light and thin the Santos is, it’s a bit too flashy for what I wear 99% of the time. I do wear it the few times I wear a suit every year. Everytime I put it on I add another gnarly scratch to it.

The Navitimer was a graduation present from my parents, so I can never really part with it. While beautiful, it’s a bit busy. I tend to wear a lot of pattern shirts and the dial usually clashes with my outfit.

My favorite watch is the 1959 Vetta Chrono. My great grandfather bought it for my grandfather in Rome in the early 60s. It had a Manual wind Valjoux movement. It started getting more wear once I replaced the strap with the current Bordeaux calf skin from Veblenist.

Overall, I feel my collection is balanced with differing sizes, complications, and strap materials, but I think I could use a moon phase. I may wind up trading in the Santos to help fund a JLC Master Ultra Thin/MC or Glashutte Pano purchase.

Let me know your thoughts!
