I work as a therapist. My work is sensitive and time based. I use a clipboard to take notes in session. If the clipboard is held with the left hand at the top of the clipboard you can track visit time without communicating to your client that you are directing your attention away from them to check the time.

My watches are in fact tool watches for my trade. I teach my students to appreciate watches as a tool.
