[SOTC] Rate my 2 watch collection
| Two different sport watches I’d do just about anything with - one white on stainless and the other black on black on rubber. I lucked out finding the white OP39 ref 114300 in 2019 on a work trip to England and picked up the Santos black last year in Japan. Both watches were the result of lots of slow deliberation and saving and I’ve worn both a ton without any babying whatsoever! The Santos has probably taken most of the wrist time for me lately, but I do always love the comfy heft of the Oyster bracelet. The alternate black gator strap for the Santos probably only went on the watch once for a wedding. I rarely dress formally and think that most people glance at the Cartier and see a Casio. If you’re still reading, dirty secret, I actually have two other watches in my collection but for more specialized purposes - a Seiko SKX013 on a nato which was my first automatic watch I mainly use for camping and surfing, and a Garmin smartwatch got as a gift this summer which I’ve been enjoying for fitness and sleep tracking!
