Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 USM VC SP

bought a canon EOS 7D (mk 1) second hand for a good deal, but it came with no lenses and the 24-50 it came with just broke (it was never any good in the first place). This lens costs 475AUD (~315USD). Not looking to spend too much, but I really need something versatile and cheap that will hopefully last and be relatively good quality. Thanks!
