The idea of Cover, Control, Currency is an old school CIA TTP. Cover is something incognito and unnoticeable. Control is a true tool watch built for respective hard use. Currency is something luxury that can be traded or bartered in a pinch.

This matrix has helped me stay grounded in focused on what I ACTUALLY like and not just what’s hyped up. I also wanted to attack true versatility from deployments, business, travel and other, more hard use, applications and have tools to fit the job.

As it helps focus the collection it gives a clear direction speculatively and financially. I can really hone in what exactly I want without being that guy with 50 Seikos and 50 G-Shocks or owning 10 stainless steel black dial divers from every manufacturer.
