[Question] which one would you pick?
| Which one would you choose and why? On the left is the newly released Tudor Ranger in 36 mm with the dune white dial. It’s a clean, no-nonsense field watch with proper tool watch DNA, a very wearable 36mm, and that slightly vintage, military inspired look Tudor does well. On the right is the Grand Seiko SBGW235 at 37 mm on the beads-of-rice bracelet. Full hand-wound movement, beautiful case finishing, and that classic Grand Seiko dress style. The dial texture and markers are on another level, and the bracelet gives it a proper vintage feel you don’t really see much anymore. It’s a touch dressier but still versatile enough for everyday wear. Both sit in a similar size range but give off completely different personalities: one leans practical, understated and ready for anything; the other is refined, elegant, and all about craftsmanship. Curious what people would pick and for what reasons, build quality, comfort, versatility, movement, brand history, or just overall vibe? If you could have only one off white, eggshell (egg nog?) coloured dial watch which one would it be? [link] [comments] |
