Ever since I was little, Rolex was always a "big deal" and has always been THE definition of a 'luxury watch' in my mind. Having gotten deep into the hobby, the aspiration to own one never disappeared, despite learning more about the hobby and all its different watchmakers.

Owning one has always been a milestone I've been itching to get to as a collector.

Fast forward to today, been spending the last two weeks with my wife in Japan for our (late) honeymoon; and I finally got my hands on one. I felt the spark the moment I fitted it, so I knew it was time.

My new forever piece, a blue Rolex 15200 Oyster Perpetual Date in minty fresh condition from 1999.

Just so nice to be able to commemorate so many collective wins and life milestones with this beautiful piece.
