Last week I posted on here asking whether automatic watches run in space, or whether the lack of gravity leads to them requiring hand winding. There was quite a bit of debate and a variety of answers, so I decided to ask Jonny Kim himself.

As if we really needed another reason to respect Jonny Kim (look up his resume), he actually replied, FROM THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION.

So now we know definitively- automatic watches DO run in space.
