I had wanted to try a tank-style watch for a long time. I have fairly small wrists, so I thought it would fit well. The original Tank is too expensive, to just try the style. I think the Casio is more of a fun watch for me to wear because I usually wear dive or field watches. Besides a Seiko SARB033 and a Tissot PRX, I don’t own any dress watches. I've always been interested in those Chinese copies of the Cartier Tank, Seiko made one too. In the end, though, I think Casio is the most authentic Tank homage. The watch isn't trying to be a serious copy. It has a green/blue seconds hand and "WR50" printed on the dial, and it's simply a Casio. It’s a fun little watch. It's not a serious Cartier copy, but a nice Tank with the good old Casio vibe.
