The war in Sudan is currently in a stalemate. The RSF consolidated in Darfur, the SAF in the riverine east, with both sides trying to advance in Kordofan.

Some believe that a new partition of Sudan (South Sudan, the world's newest state, has also separated from Sudan) is conceivable.
