• September 10: After the Ukrainian incursion on 6 August, Putin had reportedly ordered his military to recapture the occupied area of Kursk Oblast by October 1, & the Russian army reportedly launched a counteroffensive operation in Kursk Oblast on September 10, with reports of Russian advances in Korenevsky District, & Apti Alaudinov also claimed that Russian forces entered Snagost, & it was claimed that Russian forces captured the settlements of Gordeyevka & Vnezapnoye.

• September 11: Russian counteroffensive operations in Korenevsky District of Kursk Oblast reportedly continued, with some Russian sources saying that as much as 165 square kilometers had been retaken, & Alaudinov saying that "about 10 settlements" had been recaptured, & these operations came amidst a Ukrainian redeployment of troops from Kursk Oblast to the fighting near Pokrovsk, which in accordance with a Ukrainian milblogger gave Russian forces the upper hand in Kursk.
