According to the Al Jazeera and Associated Press, every state in the US swung towards Trump/Republican including DC in 2024 (as of the 10th of November, however this appears to have held as of the 3rd of December). The last time every state and DC swung towards a party was the Democrats and Jimmy Carter in 1976. For context, that was during the time of the Watergate Scandal. Washington looks to have held the smallest shift towards Trump, whereas New York has had the strongest shift. Some of these states did have substantially lower turnout, however others like Florida shifted with very little shift in turnout.
