I had a few mates insist they pop my minecraft cherry and despite not having much interest in it i figured id give it a shot. The literal first 20 hours was some of the most boring gaming ive ever done in my life and that's big thanks to my mates giving me the most dogshit advice you've ever seen lol, such brilliant exchanges the likes of

Me: “I need wheat to bake bread for a trophy.”
Them: “Okay.”
Me: “What does wheat look like?”
Them: “You’ll know it when you see it.” ???????

Anyway, eventually once our base started coming together and i finally put my big boy pants on and researched things myself something clicked and i started having an insanely good time, making horrible geneva convention breaking contraptions and just generally breaking the game in half. Once that switch flicked i became utterly obsessed to the point where i was dreaming in blocks.

This game has simultaneously some of the easiest and most tedious trophies I've ever come across in my life though and 134 is just an absurd amount. Some of them take like a minute whereas others take a coordinated team of three several hours to achieve. Apparently the PC achievements leave the trophies for dead though. Someone mentioned one for getting all 34 status effects simultaneously? i can name like 5 status effects...

But yeah basically just wanted to say this game converted me, i get it now, this block based god has it's hooks in me
