Hey folks, Took my daughter to see the Minecraft Movie over the weekend. Fun little film, wasn’t really expecting much, but it was a good time. Anyway, something kind of odd happened during one of the scenes, and I figured I’d toss it out here in case anyone else noticed it too.

There’s this part called the “Chicken Jockey” scene—my kid tells me that’s an actual thing in the game. While all the chaos is going on, she noticed a green guy in the back. I didn’t really catch it in the moment, but apparently there’s this brief shot where some weird green creature is just kind of… standing there in the background. Doesn’t move. Doesn’t do anything. Just there.

Here’s the kicker... she managed to take a video of it. Not something I normally encourage (big fan of the “no filming in the theater” rule), but… kids these days, right? I watched the clip when we got home, and sure enough, there’s this little green guy tucked away in the corner of the frame. It’s quick, blink and you’ll miss it. but it doesn’t look like a normal mob. Not a creeper, not a zombie. Just kind of… off.

I tried Googling around but haven’t found anything about it. No easter eggs or dev mentions. Could be nothing, maybe just a background gag or a rendering glitch, but the way my daughter reacted made it feel like there was something there.

Anyone else catch this?
