I chopped half of this to make fake burnt ends. The other half is bacon now. I used WAY WAY too much brown sugar. It tastes like meat candy and you cant have more than 2-3 pieces before the sugar gets overwhelming. Next time I'm going to cut sugar in half and add more black pepper.
