Looking for real world / honest feedback on the Snow Peak Alpha Breeze

I’m in the market for a new 4p+ car camping tent, and the sheer number of positive reviews for the Snow Peak Alpha Breeze has me giving it serious consideration.

I’m already a big Snow Peak fan / stan. I know their gear isn’t always the lightest or most technical, but I appreciate the comfort, design, and build quality. That said, I do have a couple of concerns I’m hoping current owners can weigh in on...

1. The rear wall slope
The back half of the tent seems to lose almost all headroom because of that steep slope. Does this end up being a non-issue in practice? Are people just putting their sleeping pads back there or mainly using that zone for storage?

2. The pole system
The setup looks a bit more old-school, especially the cross pole and pin system. Is it cumbersome compared to modern hubbed frames or ball and joint/grommet setups? Does it feel like a compromise, or does it work fine once you get used to it? Feels like a really dated design.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s used one especially if you have gripes. Hard to find a negative review of the tent.

For context, I'm normally a Nemo guy having owned a Morpho, Losi, and hornet. I always loved the little details of Nemos but I can't help but feel like the 4p and up tents are lacking the Nemo of old quality.

I am also cross shopping a gazelle t4 exp but the quality control issues and removable floor have me leaning away from that one. The setup and takedown were really nice though!
