Went with the ALPS after recommendation

I recently posted to ask about experience with ALPS to replace my 10 year old half dome because I have access to pro deal pricing through my work. I went with the Helix 2 to save some money. I used it for the first time last week on a 3 night canoeing trip. I appreciate everyone’s input. Pros: lightweight(about 4 Lbs), hefty footprint (sold separately), plenty of guyline attachment options, good amount of headspace. Cons: I’m not a big fan of the 3 pole setup. It’s a little awkward to set up solo but I’m sure I’ll get it down. Only 2 vents on top (really not a deal breaker though) Would be a challenge to use just footprint and rain fly. Overall it’s been a good experience.
