I am thinking of attempting a London - Cape-Town trip in my Land Rover Defender (photo) (My mother did the same trip in the same car back in 1998)

I have over a year to plan and prepare for this but before I do all that I thought I would see…

if people think it’s possible

What advice people have about route/equipment/safety etc

I would appreciate any advice and pointers!!
