We are preparing for another winter... Any suggestions for staying warm..and sane?

Last year we had a diesel heater and pink board insulation skirting outside. (and yes, snow all around). The floors were always very cold, but for the most part we (and the cats) stayed warm. Last year was also a “lighter” winter than usual. We plan on two diesel heaters and better insulation on the door (school bus door with gaps). but as far as keeping the floor warm, i’m stuck. because heat rises, the floor is almost never warm, especially at the front where the window and door let in a ton of cold air. The goal was to be somewhere warm this winter, but I am not finding many opportunities with parking spots (northwest usa). 1- any recommendations for jobs in warmer weather 2- experiences and tips for winter in a van / rv
