Smoked Pinwheels… Yum
![]() | I discovered a photo of a smoked Beef Flank Pinwheel stuffed with all the flavors and I decided to give it a try! Needless to say… This did NOT disappoint. This one is butterflied open & pounded out even with a mallet… Then I smeared a mixture of Olive oil, Red Wine Vinegar, minced Garlic & Shallots on the whole thing. Then put I put Fresh Basil, Fresh Spinach, Sundried Tomatoes, & Fresh Sliced Mozzarella. Roll it up and tie with Twine, then I put my Steak Rub on the outside of the Roll before putting on my smoker. I smoked at 275 for 2 hours. It was perfect! Not only is it beautiful to look at but omg the flavors. So dern good! When I’m not using my competition offset Wood Fire Smoker/Grill, I use an ASMOKE brand pellet smoker/grill. This Pinwheel was smoked on my ASMOKE. [link] [comments] |
