All of these seams "waterproofing" on my high Sierra tent are degrading. I wouldn't mind it not being waterproof, but what I do mind is it is giving off an odd smell which I assume to be the deteriorating plastic, and most annoyingly its getting white flakes everywhere.

Other than this it's a perfectly good tent and it would be a shame to have to throw it out for this reason.

So coming here for advice on what I could do to save it. Thanks!
