Trailmaster tent mystery
![]() | I haven’t camped in YEARS, and never camped much, but am hoping to get into it. An old roommate left this tent with me years ago and I finally set it up. Setup was pretty quick, but it may need to be cleaned. Doesn’t smell great, but doesn’t smell horrible. There are mold spots, but it’s been dry for at least 7 years. I can’t find anything about the brand, Trailmaster. It’s probably 8-10’ per side and 6’ tall in the center. It has chain-linked poles (steel or aluminum?) for the lower portions of the edges, which seem pretty sturdy. It has a tub bottom. So it seems like a tent worth the effort of cleaning, but I’m not sure. I don’t have a yard, but may be able to let it dry in my garage. And I may need a rain fly? Any guidance is appreciated!
