We took our little caravan and headed for the woods after work yesterday. The sun has been warm today and I think I got this year’s first freckles. The ice is still clinging to the shadow side of the lake though and it will probably be just around freezing point tonight.

Now all that can be heard is the crackling fire and the bubbling pot.

I wonder how come so many people long for crowded beaches when you could have all this. ❤️????
