Stopping in a hotel and I have put some ice on the frozen food. I’d like to be able to use power. The Brass Monkey manual says let the freezer stand on level ground between 4 to 6 hours before powering it up but is that really necessary? When I get to my final destination a 6 hour wait almost defeats the purpose of having a powered freezer.
