General Grabber AT3, Africa and a 2x4 Benz
| Hi y'all, I'm Norman and together with my girlfriend Mélanie we are close to our dream of riding our 2x4 Mercedes Transporter from 1986 from Switzerland down to South Africa. We'll be taking the west coast road and are overly excited for this two years long trip. We are planning the trip so, that we will be during the dry season in West Africa. Of course the 2x4 is probably not the best choice but should be manageable with a couple aluminum recovery boards, cords, shovel and trucks claws (these traction things to strap around the tire) and last but not least some (5 in total ;) General Grabber AT tires along with a compressor and a puncture fixing set... Puuuh, sounds a lot but is it enough? What are your thoughts?? I mean we'll be doing it ANY WAY. Because a smart man once said "You'd be crazy NOT to go". Just interested if we should consider anything else? Thank you so much for your time ????
