Hi all- new to grilling and our house has a built in Fire Magic grill. We recently had it cleaned, repaired and sanitized by a BBQ company and they told us to season the grill. I followed a few videos on YT and used canola oil that I applied with a paper towel. I then turned the grill on High and left it for 15 minutes. It went from shiny silver to amber but in the middle it’s still silver/white.

My partner thinks I should re-season that spot because there wasn’t enough oil. I wanted to see if anyone had any insight before I attempt it.
