I bought this tarp a couple of years ago, it's square, with a 10.5' diagonal/ridgeline. Apparently it's discontinued. Anyway, after an insane rainstorm with 30+ mph winds, it got pretty beat up and I upgraded to a winter tarp with doors. I'm sure I could replace this for under $50, and it would be nice to have a smaller, summer tarp.

I'm imagining the cost and effort of applying 8+ gear tape patches, and wondering if those would even last multiple seasons.

Anyone have experience patching a tarp and could offer advice?

If I give up on it (my instinct), any suggestions on how to use the fabric? Maybe small stuff sacks and gear bags?
