Insurance says video doesn't "definitively show other driver at f…
| I've never been in an accident before so I'm not sure if this is normal. My insurance rep took my statement and when I brought up the dashcam footage, she said that it doesn't show the other driver leaving their lane so there's not "definitive proof showing who left their lane". I expressed that in my opinion it clearly shows that I am in the center of my lane the entire time, with no drift towards the left lane, until an obvious impact occurs and the front of my car is swung sharply to the left. She then said she was just going over all the possible senerios since it is still early in the investigation, but that was one of the possibilities the other drivers insurance could claim. That phone call unfortunately did not make me feel reasured after a scary situation that I thought would be cut and dry with my footage. Should I just be patient with the investigation and trust that it turns out or is there anything else I can do? [link] [comments] |
