A roundabout as a bus transit hub! (metro is coming!)
![]() | The roundabout features a four-way bus stop serving multiple lines, allowing passengers to transfer easily and safely without interacting with traffic. Private vehicles circulate via controlled intersections, which ensures the priority right of way for buses. Greening is always essential to make the city enjoyable and aesthetic! A new metro line is under construction, with an underground station planned at the roundabout’s center. (It's such a shame Cities Skylines never come up with a metro station with multiple exits—it would feel much more realistic!) I also secretly hope Cities Skylines will let us view station usage as a daily average, rather than just the number of people in the last 3 minutes. That would be a meaningful data to consider when doing urban planning. In this case having a average data on the user created bus hub will be very useful. [link] [comments] |
