Some more interchanges
![]() | Today I'm sharing two new interchanges! The first one is the most vital connection to the capital city. As you can see, the exit is prepared for a lot of congestion, considering its importance in regards to future traffic. If you take a look at the second picture, you can see the MASSIVE height difference between the expressway and the road below. This is caused by the large elevations in the area, because of the mountainous terrain and the necessity for the route to climb up to the interchange from last time. The second interchange is more interesting. It's right after the first one, but it doesn't serve the same area, mostly the ocean-view towns and the future industry district. Right after, the expressway ends and turns into a regular two-way two-lane highway, as the city really doesn't need two additional lanes on its bypass right now. Oh, yes, the bypass. This route, and the accompanying interchanges form the eastern ring road around the city, mostly to alleviate traffic from the city core. It actually works well, although at this time, the city isn't fully built up, so there is not that much congestion. [link] [comments] |
