That’s because the negative effects of weaving decrease when the weaving section is long enough. In this interchange, the minimum weaving section is about 400 meters (approximately 1,310 feet), while in a traditional cloverleaf it's around 100 meters (about 330 feet). In traffic engineering, it is generally considered that weaving virtually disappears when the distance reaches around 750 meters (roughly 2,460 feet). However, due to the limitations of in-game pathfinding AI, a greater distance might be required. Because of the weaving issue mentioned earlier, I recommend using this interchange as a hybrid that combines the functions of both an IC (Interchange) and a JC (Junction), rather than as a pure freeway-to-freeway connection.
