Beginner question, what do I do with this plant?
![]() | This is my first time putting live plants in an aquarium and I’m not sure what to do with the plant that had a growth spurt and seems like it’s sending out new roots. I don’t even remember what type of plant it is. My question is, should I cut it in some way to replant the parts or is this normal and nothing needs to be done? If I should replant where/how do I cut it and plant it. Details in case it helps: - 10 gal tall tank, only a betta and a snail set up in January - Gravel only substrate - Root tab placed near the plant sometime before this growth (mid-Feb?) - I had some red root floaters when it was growing, but they’re almost all gone now (I think because of my very hard water?) - Dosed fertilizer into water 2-3 times in March to try to help the floaters - Typically 8-12 hrs of light a day, not really on top of controlling it Thank you in advance for any advice!
