I was just gifted a ton of saffron bulbs. The issue is that our first frost is next week. They have already sprouted, do I attempt to preserve them and plant next year or plant them now, and hope they survive. Another option is to put some in a pot in the garage away from the frost? Any tips on what to do with them?
