As the title states, I'm looking to get back into the planted tank game, and I've seen too many cool pictures and videos on social media of absolutely gorgeous planted bowls. I know that a standard rectangular tank will be much easier in terms of setup and cleaning. Aside from the obvious downsides of access for cleaning, and difficulty of scaping, are there any other issues i'm not thinking of? For the price of the pictured SR Aquaristik 18 gallon bowl, there are multiple 30-55 gallon tanks (with stands) available nearby on marketplace. Any thoughts and/or feedback are welcome.

(I should add, I have kept a handful of smaller low-tech planted tanks before, from a 5gal Fluval specV up to a 20gal long community tank I had during college.)
