Cost of materials was just under 200, but it was well worth it for the experience and the ability to customize the stand to fit our needs. My girlfriend is a set designer/builder so we used her 3d modeling and carpentry skills to build this beautiful center piece for our living room. Perfectly matched with our 100 year old wood floors! This is our first aquarium so feedback would be greatly appreciated ????
