Tank ideas?
![]() | Hi! Im swapping over to aquatic soil finally and I’m struggling with ideas on how to decorate it. In the picture (it’s quite an old picture so that plants have grown more) it shows the plants I currently have, and also the piece of driftwood which I would really like to keep, however I’m finding it hard to find ideas on how to incorporate it. If anyone has any ideas, they’d be greatly appreciated. Having plants that are beginner friendly are a must as I’m chronically ill so want a slightly lower maintenance tank that I’ll be able to keep up with. Also, I’m having a hard time attaching the Anubis’s to the driftwood. After around 4 months of it being tied to the driftwood with string, it still floats if the string comes loose. What would be the best thing to use? Fish: 8 guppies 2 bamboo shrimp 1 bristle nose pleco 1 hill stream loach Thank you!!! When I first got my tank, I made the mistake of using decorative gravel. However as I’ve gotten more into fish and fish tanks, I wanted to have a planted tank, so chose some easy plants that can survive in gravel while I ordered and soaked aquatic soil to get rid of the ammonia. The ammonia has almost gone in the new soil so I’ll be able to get rid of the gravel and finally have a planted tank. [link] [comments] |
