So I just started this tank 6 weeks ago and about 3 weeks ago added crushed coral because my pH was 6 which was way to low for the shrimp and snails I wanted to add to the tank. I just added some red rili shrimp (lost 2 in the 1st 24 hrs) and nerite snails 5 days ago. Tested my water today and I have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrates and 0 nitrites. My pH is now 7.6, kH is 6 and gH is 15. So my question is the gH being so high going to be bad for my plants and livestock? My tap water is 6.4 pH and 1 for kH and gH which is why I added the coral. Basically just want to know if I should just let the tank do it's thing or try to lower the gH.
