I was crossing a street today and noticed someone in front of me wearing a pair of chelsea-style boots that looked like a cross between a Blundstone and an Iron Ranger. I was about to ask them about the boots when someone in a car waiting at the light yelled my name. Turned out to be someone I knew and we exchanged a few words, but unfortunately I lost the boot wearer.

The boots were black, the leather seemed to be of a good quality (slightly shiny but definitely but patent leather — there was a slight texture and variation), and the sole appeared to be a chunky, Vibram-style. I wasn't able to notice any identifying stitching on the upper. I couldn't tell how tall the boots were, so I drew the cuff of the pants as I recall it.
