I bought a cream guess halter top in a size (uk) 12-14 in the early 2000s for my mother. She didn’t want it so I wore it as a dress for YEARS until it broke. It was cream coloured, a flowy chiffon outer layer and a tighter stretchy lining. There was a chain of gold hoops around the neck of the halter. The gold hoops were that battered metal effect, it hung from the top but not like a necklace, it was fixed to the top somehow. I was a uk 8 so I wore the 12-14 as a dress.

I wore this ‘dress’ for my ‘birthday dress’ multiple times in my 20s. After a few bad breakups when I was young I’ve lost or left behind a lot of of sentimental clothes. I’ve been searching for this for YEARS. I’ve re bought every other sentimental piece, I cannot find this top.
