I've seen someone wear this kind of jacket the other day, I don't have a picture of it but it looked a bit like this (although it was black). The fabric seemed to be on the stiff side that didn't fold very much, there were diagonal pockets on the chest with zippers. The torso was cut somewhat high and fell slightly short of covering the top of the trousers. There were metal studs or more likely buttons (made me think of those on jean trousers), one on each sleeve and one on each side on the bottom of the torso, to adjust the width, which made a nice shape contrast compared to the rest of it being very straight. I didn't see a visible brand, but it was probably purchased somewhere around Paris.

It's a very common look which I've wanted to get for a while but I've never been fully satisfied by what I found in stores, so I'd really like to find where that one was from. In hindsight I probably should've asked, but it's too late for that...
