Hi! I hope this ok/ im doing this right! I'm getting married in 18 months but I'm trying to research styles and inspiration now. I think what I'd like is a 40s-50s style but modern? I had a dress-up dress like this when I was a little girl and I'd love the grown-up version now! Could you help me find what styles or key words i should be looking for?

Edit: i would like to thank everybody for all of their helpful suggestions!! I had been feeling lost and overwhelmed, but now i feel equipped and like I know where to go from here! Now I have a lot to work with, in a good way! :) I've never been terribly knowledgeable about fashion, and i appreciate everyone's contributions so much!
