Hi! I’ve been scouring the internet for HOURS now, trying to find this evening dress (or something similar) my mom donated a few years ago. When I was small, I used to play dress up in it and dreamt of someday wearing it to my graduation, or even my wedding. (I don’t even want to get married lmao) She must have bought it in either the 80s or early 90s in Germany. I don’t know the brand, but my mom wouldn’t have been able to afford anything high-end.

Here’s a description of some of the details: The bodice was made of some satin like material. The stomach part was covered with little satin-y dots that sparkled. I’m pretty sure the skirt was just made of several layers of tulle. (Which I tried to visualize through… sprinkles lol). Most importantly it was shorter in the front than the back! I’ve found some dresses that look kind of similar, but NONE of them have this feature. The waist was pretty low and the back was shirred. (had to google that word) The sleeves were off-shoulder and maybe even more puffy than in my drawing.

I honestly don’t expect anyone to find the exact piece, but if you find ANYTHING similar, with this kind of cut, I would greatly appreciate it! It doesn’t even have to be for sale, even just a picture with which I could continue my search would be awesome.
