First ollie ???? [40YO]

Oh my god, finally!!! After weeks of practicing an hour or so a day (when weather permitted) I finally managed to get my old bones (and the back wheels) into the air - even if it was just s couple of centimeters.

It looks like crap and I know I shouldn't push my front foot down so much, but I'm just happy I finally actually feel like my body is getting the idea of what it's supposed to do. ????

I've been practicing this "pop, slide, jump" thing for days without any meaningful progress until I finally found some videos online where people actually described it more accurately as more or less a single combined movement. I also found that practicting it while rolling was a lot easier than standing still.

Anyway, still a lot to improve but I started in early August, so really happy with the progress. With autumn approaching fast I can't wait for next summer.

PS: You can also see my five-year old practicing in the background. By next year I'm sure he'll be showing me some tricks I could never so ????
