Is this a good setting exercise? (Ignore amount of misses please)

I don't usualy have someone to practise with, so I try just passing into a bucket. I am afraid that this exercise disregards things like arch, if the ball is high enough or the effect of the speed ball is passed with. Any ideas how to improve it?
